Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 5–6 years of experience in PHP development to build and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development skills, experience with cloud infrastructure, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP, Laravel, and CodeIgniter.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Write efficient, optimized MySQL queries and design scalable database schemas.
- Improve application performance using Redis and Memcached.
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application reliability.
- Conduct code reviews and follow coding best practices.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and Frontend teams to deliver quality software.
Required Skills
- 5–6 years of experience in PHP development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Laravel and CodeIgniter.
- Solid knowledge of MySQL, database design, and query optimization.
- Experience with AWS, Redis, and Memcached.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, OOP, MVC architecture, and Git.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
Preferred Skills
- Docker, CI/CD, Elasticsearch, or Microservices.
- Experience with Linux server administration and performance optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
